Job Summary

This hybrid role of Solution Manager focuses on designing and delivering advanced wireless and cloud networking solutions using Cisco technologies and AWS networking services. The role requires deep expertise in network management systems core networking foundations and secure architectures that align with governance risk and compliance practices. The Solution Manager will drive high quality solutions that strengthen business resilience and enable reliable connectivity for global stakeholder

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end solution design for complex wireless and cloud networking environments by translating business requirements into robust Cisco wireless and AWS networking architectures that deliver secure and reliable connectivity for hybrid operations.
• Oversee creation of detailed network solution blueprints for access distribution and core layers by applying strong networking foundation principles that ensure scalability resilience and optimal performance for enterprise clients.
• Provide expert guidance on integrating network management systems for monitoring and orchestration of wireless and wired infrastructure to enhance visibility incident response and overall service quality in hybrid work settings.
• Drive optimization of existing networking landscapes by performing in depth assessments of routing switching wireless coverage and cloud connectivity to recommend improvements that reduce downtime and improve user experience.
• Coordinate closely with cross functional teams such as cloud engineers security specialists and operations staff to align networking solutions with broader technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives that support organizational objectives.
• Develop solution proposals and technical documentation that clearly describe architectures assumptions integration approaches and operational models to enable effective implementation and long term maintainability.
• Ensure that all networking solutions adhere to governance risk and compliance guidelines by incorporating secure design practices policy based controls and thorough audit readiness into every stage of solution development.
• Support day to day solution lifecycle activities by reviewing change requests evaluating impact on wireless and AWS networking components and providing expert input to maintain operational stability during daytime shifts.
• Guide troubleshooting efforts for high impact incidents by collaborating with operations teams to analyze logs metrics and configurations thereby restoring services quickly and preventing recurrence through targeted corrective actions.
• Promote adoption of automation within networking environments by recommending tools patterns and workflows that streamline configuration management monitoring and reporting for complex multi site deployments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define success measures for networking solutions by linking technical outcomes such as availability performance and security posture to business value and societal impact through reliable digital services.
• Champion continuous improvement by staying current with industry trends in wireless networking cloud connectivity and network management practices and by translating new insights into practical enhancements for delivered solutions.
• Provide mentorship to project teams on best practices for documentation configuration standards and validation procedures so that networking solutions remain consistent reproducible and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive hands on experience in wireless networking using Cisco technologies including advanced configuration of controllers access points and security features supporting large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrate strong practical mastery of core networking concepts such as routing switching segmentation and quality of service along with experience in integrating these foundations with cloud based networking services.
• Bring in depth exposure to AWS networking including design and configuration of virtual private networks load balancing connectivity to on premises networks and secure access patterns for hybrid workloads.
• Have proven experience with network management systems for centralized monitoring performance analytics and configuration management that enhance operational efficiency and reduce resolution times.
• Apply familiarity with governance risk and compliance domains to design networking solutions that incorporate policy enforcement risk mitigation and traceable controls contributing to responsible and ethical technology usage.

Certifications Required

Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP Enterprise AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty

Compensation: We are offering between $120,000 - $139,000. Applications will be accepted until Oct 16, 2026.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
