Seeking a Sr. Network Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage enterprise switching (L2/L3) environments in Orlando, FL on a contract basis.
- Design, deploy, and support network architectures across core, distribution, and access layers.
- Troubleshoot network issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage incidents using tools like ServiceNow.
- Configure VLANs, STP, VRFs, QoS, and ensure network segmentation and high availability.
- Monitor network performance with tools such as Logic Monitor and support hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and wireless teams; assist with automation using scripting languages like Python.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. Required CCNA/CCNP and relevant experience; preferred knowledge of automation and advanced network tools.
