You combine deep networking expertise with strong leadership skills, thrive in high-availability environments, and are passionate about improving reliability, automation, and service delivery. You're equally comfortable leading engineers, managing major incidents, and partnering with executive stakeholders to ensure operational success.

What You'll Do

  • Own network availability and performance for a 99.99%+ uptime environment
  • Improve Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) through better monitoring, escalation, and operational processes
  • Define monitoring, alerting, and observability standards
  • Deliver operational reporting on uptime, incident trends, SLA performance, and risk

Infrastructure Deployments & Change Management

  • Lead operational acceptance of newly deployed infrastructure
  • Oversee hypercare following major deployments and upgrades
  • Review and approve high-risk implementation plans and change procedures
  • Ensure new infrastructure meets operational, security, and scalability standards before production

Incident, Problem & Change Management

  • Lead Major Incident response for critical outages
  • Own ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes
  • Drive root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and long-term remediation
  • Improve operational processes through standardization and continuous improvement

Automation & Process Improvement

  • Champion automation to reduce manual effort and improve consistency
  • Develop and maintain operational runbooks, configuration standards, and troubleshooting documentation
  • Support scalable, repeatable operational practices across the environment

Client & Vendor Management

  • Serve as the primary operational contact for client leadership
  • Present operational updates, risks, and performance metrics to stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with hardware vendors, carriers, and service providers
  • Ensure third-party partners meet contractual SLAs and operational expectations

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Operations, or Infrastructure Operations
