POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Operations Reporting Analyst leads the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytics and reporting solutions that drive strategic decision-making across operational and financial domains. This role serves as a subject matter expert in healthcare data, oversees complex reporting initiatives, and partners with leadership to translate data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes and organizational performance.

Responsibilities:
  • 1. Analyzes and interprets complex stakeholder reporting needs, translating them into well-designed, reliable, and actionable reports.
    2. Leads the design and delivery of enterprise-level reports and analytics solutions for executive and operational stakeholders.
    3. Owns and manages complex data analyses, including utilization, cost, productivity, and financial metrics.
    4. Identifies opportunities for automation, optimization, and scalability of reporting processes.
    5. Presents findings and insights to senior leadership in a clear, actionable format.
    6. Leads cross-functional initiatives related to cost reduction, margin enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting, or business intelligence.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and complex data querying.
  • Expertise with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data structures (EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner; claims data).
  • Advanced Excel skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Epic tier 5 certification
  • Proficiency in SAS, Epic Reporting tools, Smartview
  • Experience in financial analytics within healthcare (cost accounting, margin analysis).
