Job Title: Sr. Oracle EPBCS Technical Lead
Location Tampa, FL (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 months (extendable)
Pay Range: $50-54/Hour on W2 only

Role Overview: This requirement is for a Senior Oracle EPBCS Technical Lead who will work on Oracle’s cloud-based Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions focused on:
  • Planning
  • Budgeting
  • Forecasting
  • Financial reporting
  • Integrations
  • Automation
 
This is a senior technical-functional leadership role within Oracle EPM Cloud.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Support:
  • Design, develop, and maintain EPBCS solutions including business rules, calculation scripts, and forecasts to support planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Handle enhancements and troubleshooting of EPBCS applications, performing root cause analysis and implementing robust solutions.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines and integration workflows with upstream and downstream systems through Data Management, REST APIs, and automation tools.
  • Optimize data extracts and improve performance and efficiency of EPBCS applications.
 
Technical Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to EPBCS best practices, governance, and security standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, acting as a technical lead on projects.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and DevOps practices to support continuous integration and deployment.
 
Automation and Scripting:
  • Utilize Groovy scripting extensively for advanced automation, data transformation, and custom calculations.
  • Implement automated scheduling and orchestration of planning and data management processes to reduce manual interventions.
 
Integration and Reporting:
  • Integrate EPBCS with Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM modules and other enterprise applications requiring data movement across systems.
  • Support reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics to deliver insights for stakeholders.
  • Conduct performance tuning of cubes, data management jobs, and overall application efficiency.
 
Testing and Production Support:
  • Participate in unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and provide production support.
  • Ensure smooth upgrade transitions and version control for EPBCS environments.
 
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in EPBCS modules.
  • EPBCS Cloud Modules: Planning, Forecasting, Budgeting, and related EPM applications (FCCS, PCMCS, ARCS).
  • Oracle Cloud Integrations: Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM and related interfaces.
  • Programming & Scripting: Groovy, REST API, Data Management scripting for automation and integration.
  • Data Management & Analytics: Strong understanding of data extraction, transformation, and modeling for planning and financial reporting purposes.
  • Methodologies: Agile, DevOps, and project lifecycle management.
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Problem-solving, communication with business stakeholders, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and providing strategic recommendations.
  • Expertise in writing groovy scripts.
