5+ years of Oracle SQL development against transactional databases.
5+ years of experience writing complex SQL including joins, CTEs, subqueries, CASE statements, aggregate and analytic functions.
5+ years of experience with normalized relational database design and table relationships.
3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience including procedures, functions, packages, and views.
Experience with SQL job scheduling and automated database processes.
Strong SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation skills.
Experience translating business requirements into SQL solutions.
Experience with operational reporting and data analysis.
Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is highly desired.
Experience within criminal justice or other large transactional database environments is highly preferred.
The Department of Community Supervision (DCS) is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Oracle SQL Analyst to support large, normalized Oracle transactional databases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL solutions from scratch, analyzing business requirements, and delivering operational reporting and data analysis solutions. This role is heavily focused on transactional database development and is not a traditional Business Intelligence or Dashboard Development position.
