Sr. Oracle SQL Analyst

5+ years of Oracle SQL development against transactional databases.
5+ years of experience writing complex SQL including joins, CTEs, subqueries, CASE statements, aggregate and analytic functions.
5+ years of experience with normalized relational database design and table relationships.
3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience including procedures, functions, packages, and views.
Experience with SQL job scheduling and automated database processes.
Strong SQL troubleshooting, query optimization, and data validation skills.
Experience translating business requirements into SQL solutions.
Experience with operational reporting and data analysis.
Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools is highly desired.
Experience within criminal justice or other large transactional database environments is highly preferred.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programs.
• Write simple and complex SQL queries against normalized Oracle transactional databases.
• Analyze business requirements and determine appropriate tables, relationships, joins, and business rules.
• Extract, validate, transform, and analyze operational data for reporting and executive requests.
• Develop and maintain automated SQL processes, scheduled jobs, and recurring data refreshes.
• Troubleshoot SQL scripts, database jobs, and data quality issues.
• Create efficient, reusable, and well-documented SQL code.
• Support operational reporting, KPIs, legislative reporting, and research initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and communicate analytical findings.
• Support Tableau dashboards and other data visualization initiatives as needed.
