Overview
A beverage manufacturer is seeking a Senior OT Systems Engineer to support MES, manufacturing systems integration, and digital transformation initiatives within a highly automated production environment.
This role will focus on bridging Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) across plant operations while supporting Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives and enterprise-wide MES implementations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead MES implementation projects from scoping and design through deployment, go-live, and post-launch support
• Support plant digital transformation initiatives involving manufacturing systems and operational data integration
• Design and support integrated OT/IT infrastructure solutions across production environments
• Partner closely with operations, engineering, IT, and plant leadership teams
• Manage and coordinate vendors, integrators, and third-party contractors throughout project execution
• Support manufacturing system reliability, networking, databases, and plant system connectivity
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to OT systems and manufacturing performance
• Assist with modernization and standardization of manufacturing technology infrastructure
• Contribute to Manufacturing 4.0 and emerging Manufacturing 5.0 / AI-related initiatives
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience within OT, MES, systems integration, or manufacturing technology environments
• Hands-on MES implementation experience within manufacturing operations
• Strong understanding of OT systems, manufacturing software, and plant-floor technologies
• Experience within high-speed manufacturing environments preferred
• Working knowledge of networking, servers, databases, SQL, and industrial communication systems
• Experience managing complex technical projects and working cross-functionally with multiple teams
• Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, evolving manufacturing environments
