    Job Description

This highly visible role will help drive AWS"s global go-to-market strategy for Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), developing holistic strategies that build awareness, generate demand, and grow revenue across the full ISV flywheel: selling to, with, and through our software partners. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of B2B marketing strategy paired with hands-on experience in integrated marketing and digital demand generation. You"ll be the subject matter expert on how we market-to ISVs, translating market and customer data into strategy into repeatable marketing motions across sales segments and geographies.

You will partner with product, field, brand, and digital teams, and work closely with our Integrated Demand Plan (IDP) teams, Product Marketing, and our Geo-based partner marketing teams to define and execute a global demand, content, and campaign strategy that drives acquisition and engagement. You"ll identify key themes relevant across our ISV customer base and develop targeted marketing motions aligned with business priorities that engage prospects throughout the buyer"s journey to drive conversion and revenue growth. You will help our Geo-based teams activate these programs regionally and serve as an expert resource on the marketing motions, processes, and guidelines that bring ISV solutions to market.

This role requires a proven leader who can think strategically and build compelling value propositions and content for cloud and AI software solutions. You will turn our ISV go-to-market strategy into action, identifying the customer use cases, buyer personas, and industry priorities that shape joint value propositions for building on AWS. With agentic AI reshaping how software is built, bought, and adopted, you"ll help position AWS as the platform of choice for ISVs delivering the next generation of AI-powered solutions.

The ideal candidate has creative ideas, extensive analytic and data-driven demand generation experience, and a proven track record of running successful demand generation programs. The ability to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences is critical. You"re detail-oriented and organized, comfortable handling multiple projects at once, and at ease with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities. A solid understanding of the cloud landscape and the software provider ecosystem is essential.

At AWS we prize innovation, agility, and a builder mentality. The organization is purposefully flat to enable fast decision-making, and we"re empowered to resolve issues, deliver new ideas, and optimize existing ones in service of our customers. This is an individual contributor role that is both strategic and tactical: you"ll ideate, build, execute, measure, and optimize programs that deliver value to customers and partners as both the musician and the composer.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast-growing business at the center of how AWS scales with the software ecosystem. AWS gives customers secure, scalable, global cloud infrastructure while they pay only for what they use, and ISVs are central to how we help customers adopt the cloud services that power strategic workloads. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit, a history of creating high-impact marketing programs, experience marketing technology or software solutions, and a love for turning strategy into demand that scales, this role might be just for you.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
