Our client is looking for a Remote Sr. Payroll Tax Analyst for a 6+ month position (possible extension/conversion)
** ALTHOUGH THIS ROLE IS REMOTE YOU MUST BE LOCATED IN NEW JERSEY!!**
HRS: 40hrs a week (M-F 9am-6pm ET)
PAY: $45-$49/hr DOE
** MUST have Workday and ADP experience **
Responsibilities:
- Prepares sales/use, business license, and other indirect tax returns.
- Tracks returns and payments to ensure due dates are met by filing and paying timely.
- Prepares account reconciliations and payment requests.
- Gathers necessary documentation from internal resources to complete applications and returns.
- Assists with indirect tax audits.
- Performs tax research including licensing requirements, tax rates, etc.
Requirements: - Experience in handling payroll taxes for multiple states and a minimum of 5000 employees
- Knowledge and familiarity with ADP and Workday systems
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 years of payroll tax or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5 years of payroll tax experience required
