Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft HCM Specialist to support the Division of Operations and Payroll Services (BOSP) in its transition to Florida PALM. This role involves developing PeopleSoft HCM queries, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), facilitating enterprise interface testing, and preparing learning aids for end users. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PeopleSoft HCM, testing methodologies, and change management.

Key Responsibilities

1. PeopleSoft HCM Query Development

• Identify BOSP data needs and build queries to support Florida PALM.
• Document all queries, including:
• Inventory of required queries
• Demonstration of query effectiveness
• Process documentation and criteria

• Collaborate with Division staff to create test scripts and templates.
• Review and document test scenario gaps.
• Prioritize test script execution to ensure coverage of critical processes.
• Deadline: All UAT scripts must be completed by December 21, 2025.

• Support planning and execution of enterprise, UAT, and end-to-end testing.
• Act as a subject matter expert in PeopleSoft HCM payroll functionality.
• Provide daily updates and coordinate validation efforts.
• Submit weekly written summaries of testing activities by COB each Thursday.

• Collaborate with Division to assess training needs.
• Draft and finalize learning materials documenting:
• Process changes
• Steps for new HCM module processes

• Minimum 7 years of IT and business/industry experience.
• Proven experience with PeopleSoft HCM module
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Document management, relational databases, data warehousing, and web systems
• Strong project management and change management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Tallahassee, Florida.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication support.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
