A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Planning Manager to lead end-to-end supply planning operations and drive inventory, service, and production performance across a complex supply chain network. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing supply strategies, optimizing planning processes, and partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Customer Service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the supply planning function, ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory levels.
Manage and improve S&OP/SIOP processes and supply planning performance metrics.
Develop production and inventory strategies to support customer demand and business objectives.
Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and commercial teams to align supply plans.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning accuracy, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
Lead, develop, and mentor a team of planners.
Analyze supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies to support business continuity.
Utilize ERP and planning systems to improve forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of supply chain, production planning, or supply planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
Leadership experience managing supply planning or supply chain teams.
ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
