    Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we've designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Export Control : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. We are seeking a Senior Systems Development Manager to lead the strategy, development, and operational excellence of our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Fleet Management, and ServiceNow platforms. This role is responsible for managing a team of engineers and administrators who build, integrate, and maintain mission-critical enterprise systems that support product design, engineering workflows, and IT service management across the organization. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership and a track record of delivering scalable, reliable enterprise solutions at scale. Key job responsibilities PLM Platform Ownership - Lead the architecture, development, and support of PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter or equivalent), ensuring seamless integration with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain workflows CAD Infrastructure Management - Oversee the deployment, licensing, performance, and integration of CAD tools (e.g., Mentor, NX) across the enterprise, including high-performance computing environments and visualization solutions Team Leadership - Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of systems development engineers, platform administrators, and technical program managers Strategic Roadmap - Define and execute a multi-year technology roadmap for PLM, CAD, Fleet Management, and ServiceNow platforms aligned with business objectives and organizational growth Integration & Automation - Design and implement integrations between PLM, CAD, ServiceNow, and adjacent enterprise systems (e.g., SAP ERP/MES, corporate infrastructure) to streamline data flow and reduce manual processes Operational Excellence - Establish and maintain SLAs, monitoring, incident response, and change management processes to ensure 99.9%+ availability for all managed platforms Stakeholder Management - Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and business leadership to understand requirements, prioritize investments, and communicate platform capabilities and roadmaps Security & Compliance - Ensure all platforms meet corporate security standards, access control policies, and regulatory compliance requirements Budget & Vendor Management - Manage platform budgets, software licensing, and vendor relationships including contract negotiations and performance reviews
