Sr. Post Award Grant Analyst

Full-time / 40 hours per week Location: Akron City Hospital

Summary:

Maintains and monitors all administrative and financial aspects of government funded grants awarded to Summa Health System. Monitors grant budgets, revenue and expenditures and overall budget performance. Review budgets prior to submission of grants. Assists, educates and advises physicians and staff to ensure fiscally sound grant management practices, adherence to grant compliance guidelines and policies, and government regulations, as applicable.

Formal Education Required:

  • Bachelor degree
  • Graduate degree, preferred

Experience & Training Required:

  • Three (3) years financial management or financial experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state, federal and standard regulatory compliance requirements for Fiscal Grants Management (e.g. Uniform Guidance for Federal Awards - 2 CFR Part 200, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been attained
  • Research experience, preferred

  • Computer skills
  • Data base, spreadsheet, word processing, financial systems
  • Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with diverse groups of individuals, including physicians, staff, patients, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task large, complex and diverse grant awards

Level of Physical Demands:

  • Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
