The Senior Consultant provides strategic marketing and communications services for UC Health, including serving on project teams. Serves as project representative to meet long- and short-range goals and objectives. The candidate should have extensive experience in project management and developing marketing and communications plans that support overall strategic and business development plans. He or she should able be able to provide specific examples of those plans and the metrics related to their performance (i.e. ROI, net increase in business, etc.).

Education: Bachelor''s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or relevant field, minimum required. M.A., M.S., or M.B.A, preferred.

Experience: Six to ten years equivalent experience, minimum required. Eleven to fifteen years equivalent experience, preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft office programs, excellent writing skills, knowledge of marketing planning and familiarity with Associated Press Style. Comfortable with social media and Web communications.

• Develops and executes marketing and communications plans and budgets that support overall strategic and business development plans.
• Skillfully manages multiple campaigns, projects and events while adhering to tight schedules.
• Builds relationships with key constituents as the point of contact for Marketing & Communications.
• Provides strategic marketing and communications counsel to UC Health leadership for specific service lines and clinical areas.
• Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff members or interns.
• Coordinates with internal and external resources (printers, mail rooms, IT, etc.) to ensure that projects are delivered on time and without error.
