What You'll Be Doing:
The Sr. Private Banking Operations Specialist supports the operational lifecycle of private banking loans and accounts, including onboarding, servicing, documentation, and post‑closing activities. This senior level role is responsible for accurate data entry, documentation review, and transaction processing while ensuring adherence to internal controls and applicable banking regulations. The Sr. Specialist partners closely with Private Bank Lenders, Clients and internal teams to deliver timely, accurate, and high‑quality service.
What We're Looking For:
- Onboard private banking loans into core banking systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Enter, validate, and maintain customer and loan data.
- Obtain, review, and organize required documentation to support loan approval and closing.
- Coordinate loan closing activities to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Process loan servicing transactions, including payments, advances, rate changes, and loan conversions.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to loan accounts.
- Support imaging, indexing, and maintenance of loan documentation in accordance with retention standards.
- Provide operational support to Private Bankers and internal partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Private Banking Clients, including responding to inquiries related to loan servicing and account maintenance.
- Escalate non‑routine or complex issues to senior team members or management as appropriate.
- May mentor more junior-level coordinators or review their work as needed.
- Adhere to departmental standards for accuracy, timeliness, and documentation quality. May work closely with management to determine proper policies and procedures for the department.
- Follow established procedures to support compliance with applicable regulations, including Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and related policies.
- Maintain accurate records to support audits, reviews, and internal controls.

Education & Experience:
- Minimum Required: High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum Required: 6+ years of experience in banking, loan operations, or financial services support.
Licenses & Credentials:
Systems & Technology:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with core banking or loan servicing systems preferred.
- Familiarity with document imaging or workflow tools is a plus.
