Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) Local is a hard services-led, tailored facility management solution. We self-perform hard services while partnering with best-in-class soft service providers to offer custom facility and project management solutions to our clients. We focus on empowering our team with a high-level of downstream accountability, resulting in an agile and efficient service delivery.

In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services, including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Sr. Procurement Analyst, you will be an integral member of the Divisional Procurement team within the Local Line of Business, supporting client supply chain operations and sustainable business growth. The division is a high-growth part of CBRE, built primarily around facilities management (FM) and project management (PM) services, and it also contributes to the effective management of OpEx and the wider country supply chain infrastructure.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Support business-as-usual (BAU) operations, the mobilization of new client accounts, and the development and implementation of the divisional 'Fit for Purpose' procurement strategy. Ensure strategy drives commercial value, improves quality and service delivery, and embeds supply chain management principles within divisional structures and operational teams across the Local Account Lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

Mobilization and new account support

  • New client mobilization support. Guide account operations teams through new supplier onboarding requirements, systems and processes. This includes supplier kick-off calls for major mobilizations, delivering training, and fielding queries and escalations from operations teams and suppliers.
  • Educate and upskill mobilization teams over the longer term so they can self-serve, embedding these processes permanently in the business.
  • Oversee the procurement aspects of mobilizations, transitions and renewals for key clients, with support from the Procurement Lead, so new and existing accounts operate successfully from day one.

Sourcing and contracting

  • Deliver sourcing activities that support procurement financial targets and contribute to wider business financial, operational and sustainability objectives.
  • Identify and lead RFx activities within the thresholds set by the Procurement Lead, driving savings for the business and account teams.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage CBRE's supply chain and consolidate spend from non-partners to CBRE Preferred suppliers.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including template management, contract drafting, and commercial and contractual negotiation of supply chain Framework and Service Agreements.
  • Run the contract administration process, covering storage, upload and signature via DocuSign, and internal shared drive management.

Supplier partners and relationships

  • Contribute to and maintain CBRE's 'Partner Excellence Program', our preferred supplier program, embedding a 'Fit for Purpose' supply chain across service categories, geographies and industry and client sectors, mapped to divisional and wider business strategy.
  • Run supplier relationship management (SRM) sessions, supported by the Procurement Lead, to improve client and business outcomes.
  • Promote Preferred partners through supplier webinars and the events program, building knowledge of partner services across the division and the wider business.
  • Identify supply chain innovations and promote them to operations and sales teams to improve the service our clients receive.

Systems, training and enablement

  • Support the rollout of CBRE's supply chain management tools, covering supplier onboarding, contract management, sourcing, AI tools and performance management applications.
  • Deliver training sessions that support CBRE's Local Operating Model (LOM) and broader supply chain strategy, influencing business stakeholders to drive adoption and maturity over time.

Governance and collaboration

  • Follow CBRE internal processes and 'Partner Excellence Program' governance.
  • Support the maintenance of country procurement policies, Delegation of Authority (DOA), corporate governance and the Code of Conduct, to support delivery and mitigate risk to the business.
  • Work closely with operational leadership to embed best practice across the business.
  • Collaborate with functional stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, QHSE, Sales, Operations and People to drive cross-functional improvement and business maturity.
  • Participate as an active member of the wider Procurement community and contribute to regional goals and objectives.

What You'll Need:

Experience

  • 3+ years of procurement experience desirable.
  • Experience managing complex mobilization activities, including working with systems and guiding people through new processes.
  • Experience delivering training sessions, drop-in clinics and workshops.
  • Experience with supplier partner programs, supplier relationship management and development, and performance management processes and systems.
  • Some supply chain contracting experience, with working knowledge of supplier terms and conditions.
  • Facilities management or service category knowledge is desirable, not essential. Categories include cleaning, landscaping, building repair and maintenance, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), waste management, office services, fire, life and safety, elevators, security and catering.

Systems and analytical skills

  • Experience with ERP platforms and with sourcing, onboarding and contracting systems such as Coupa and Achilles.
  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and AI use cases, and experience putting them to work.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

Communication and working style

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the business acumen to develop and present compelling business cases to CBRE and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, escalations and queries arriving from several sources at once.
  • A collaborative approach: seeks input from diverse perspectives and contributes to a strong team environment.

Attributes

  • Genuine interest in procurement and a willingness to act as an ambassador for positive business change.
  • Ambition to grow, with the appetite to learn and develop in a fast-moving, high-growth business.
  • Proven track record of executing, delivering results and thriving on action at pace.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
