    Description

Amazon Leo is Amazon"s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.

As part of Leo"s RL Products team, you will play a pivotal role in building and launching global fulfillment and returns capabilities. You will lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions that optimize inventory management, global network architecture, system integration, and operational planning. Your recommendations balance software and operational complexity with customer experiences. Your expertise in advanced supply chain technologies, combined with strong analytical skills and a customer-focused approach, will drive efficiency improvements, cost reductions, and elevate the overall fulfillment and returns experience experience for Leo's global customers.

You deliver end to end software systems which deliver new and novel customers experiences, including how customers request, track, and manage returns and replacements and launch new support and commercial models to ensure customer piece of mind in our products and services. You focus on the B2B Customer segment and all returns and replacements experiences.

To ensure product+customer fit, PMT owns monthly cadence with large B2B customers and validates product with market teams, defines B2B customer persona framework for Leo"s returns/replacements, and establishes metrics based prioritization framework which ensures the most impactful features are prioritized across (e.g., enterprise, government, SMB). Large product investments are defended by clear customer-impacting working backward metrics which define success and guide course correction.

Lead cross-functional initiatives to harmonize global returns operations, inventory placement, and refurbishment strategies, ensuring seamless operations and cross-functional alignment across and within business models.

Define and deliver technical system requirements across a portfolio of software systems, leveraging existing systems and launching novel software to automate business workflows and reporting throughout the supply chain.

Partner with regional business development, operations, finance, and legal teams to create tailored refurbishment, fulfillment, warehousing, and recycling strategies, optimizing Leo cost to serve across our customer base.

    A day in the life

No day is the same. The PMT is responsible for delivering PRFAQs and driving complex cross-functional alignment across business and compliance stakeholders. Translating PRFAQs into product requirements, which demonstrate the customer outcome and incorporate compliance needs. You groom requirements with engineering and collaborate to optimize for impact and complexity - driving high ROI feature delivery. You are responsible for product signoff and ensuring launched products meet your expectations - as the customer representative.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
