    We build all the science and technology products, models, and software for Amazon Air. We"re looking for an entrepreneurial, independent, results oriented, data driven, invent and simplify-loving Senior Product Manager - Technical. This person will be responsible for creating the multi-year vision for air operations execution technical products that will power Amazon Air's growth, defining features for the products, understanding the customer needs and values, and working with product development teams to drive of features and deliverables.

    This role will involve engaging with stakeholders, research scientists, software development teams, and operations teams and our air/ground partners to derive requirements and come up with product vision, and road map. This will include defining the key product modules and associated technical architecture across internally-developed software and science, existing Amazon and fulfillment systems, and 3P software and hardware to create an innovative aviation-tech platform fully integrated with Amazon Fulfillment systems.

    A day in the life

    • Seek out ways to utilize technology-based solutions to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
    • Lead requirements gathering sessions, design prototypes, set expectations with customers / stakeholders and drive projects to completion
    • Proactively identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customization that meet business requirements
    • Work with various functions and end users to identify, document, and communicate standard business processes as they relate to your technical product

    About the team

    The Air Optimization Tech team is the dedicated technology team for Amazon Air. You will work alongside PMs, PrgmMs, SDMs, SDEs, and Applied and Data Scientists to help build Amazon"s air operations execution products.
