Sr. Production Planner

About The Role

Join our client's team to develop and manage the master manufacturing schedule. Align production output with organizational goals and optimize inventory levels. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring efficient production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor production cycles.
• Communicate schedules and deadlines effectively to production staff.
• Forecast and establish appropriate inventory levels.
• Ensure production output meets organizational expectations.
• Assist with planning made-to-stock or made-to-order operations.
• Plan and schedule outgoing shipments from the manufacturing location as needed.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards, maintaining cleanliness of the work area.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Perform work under minimal supervision.
• Handle complex issues and problems, referring only the most complex to higher-level staff.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4 to 6 years of experience.
• Intermediate verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Conceptual thinking and time management skills.
• Leadership skills.
