As a Senior Program Manager on the commerce platform team, you'll sit at the intersection of technology, business, and human experience, helping to orchestrate end-to-end solutions that let our world-class third-party partners bring Apple's services to life for their customers. If you thrive at the crossroads of strategy and execution, and are energized by work that touches millions of people -- this is the role for you. **Description** The Senior Program Manager will focus on launching commerce features and capabilities to build a world-class, scalable commerce platform for our growing services business. You will need to have hands on experience working with engineers as you explore new technologies, drive new initiatives and help build systems and features for hundreds of millions of transacting customers. You will develop tools and processes to gain efficiencies in the development and testing lifecycle. With a strong background in commerce, you will drive technical discussions with internal and external partners to implement the right solutions for our customers. The role requires a combination of program management, strong engineering background, and ability to build reciprocal relationships across various teams within Apple Services Engineering and other Apple organizations. We are looking for someone who loves digging into details, finding patterns, and driving operational efficiencies under demanding timeframes, and in parallel focusing on building scalable commerce platform capabilities. You are a strong team player - You thrive in uncertainty and strive to bring order to it; you have deep wisdom and judgment; you keep your eye on the ball - Building positive relationships comes naturally; you are aware of politics but do not get mired in them **Minimum Qualifications** + 7+ years of technical project management in global internet and consumer software companies + BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or similar technical field + Self-starter, with creative problem solving and critical thinking abilities + Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills + Team player with ability to navigate and thrive in a cross-functional environment + Ability to deal with ambiguity and complexity + Ability to break up a large project into discreet workstreams, and ability to prioritize those + Hands on experience with engineering to build and ship complex technical solutions + Experience working on building highly scalable systems & applications **Preferred Qualifications** + Solid track record in managing and deploying large, complex programs at scale + Strong relationship and facilitation skills both within diverse engineering and cross functional organization + Familiarity with building solutions that integrate with partners, either internal or external + Prior experience with subscriptions and service-based consumer products is a plus
