**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead the successful execution of strategic initiatives and complex facility design and construction projects. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale facility modernization and expansion projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will lead a cross-functional team, manage profit and loss, and communicate effectively with executive leadership and government customers. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Project Leadership:** Lead a cross-functional project team of project management, engineers, contracting, finance, and operations professionals to deliver large-scale (>$100M) highly complex Capital Investment or Government Funded projects on time, within budget, and to strigent quality standards. 2. **Profit and Loss Management:** Be accountable for the profit and loss of assigned projects, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and that financial targets are met. 3. **Communication and Reporting:** Prepare and deliver briefings and reports to executive leadership and government customers, providing updates on project status, progress, and issues. 4. **Sub-contractor and Supplier Management:** Manage sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure that they are meeting project requirements and delivering high-quality products and services. 5. **Project Planning and Control:** Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. 6. **Risk Management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure that projects are delivered successfully. **Attributes of a Successful Senior Program Manager:** 1. **Strategic Thinker:** Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions that align with business objectives. 2. **Collaborative Leader:** Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. 3. **Effective Communicator:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. 4. **Results-Oriented:** Strong focus on delivering results and meeting project goals and objectives. 5. **Adaptable and Flexible:** Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering or Business. 2. Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management in the Defense, Construction, or Oil/Gas/Chemical Industry. 3. Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively to upper management and customers, both verbally and in writing. 4. Technical Writing: Proficient in technical writing, such as proposal, statement of work development, and reports. 5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** 1. Masters Degree: A Master's degree in a related field is preferred. 2. Certifications: Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) or DAWIA Level III Program Management is preferred. 3. Earned Value Management: Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar performance measurement tools is preferred. 4. Scheduling Tools: Experience in developing Integrated Master schedules with sound logic through tools such as MS Project, Primavera, etc. is preferred. 5. Leadership Experience: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver or exceed commitments. **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $120000 - $204000 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
