Position Summary:
Responsible for advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Facilities Management (FM) organization through a disciplined,
enterprise-wide program management approach. Leads the design, execution, and governance of high-impact FM programs that enable
site-based teams by leveraging enterprise scale, data, and standardization to improve efficiency, asset performance, and overall
operational effectiveness. This role drives continuous improvement across the FM portfolio by identifying systemic opportunities,
optimizing end-to-end processes, and ensuring consistent, sustainable execution across all facilities and functional applications.
Essential Functions:
• Leads the design, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide Facilities Management initiatives that drive operational excellence, standardization, and scalability. Establishes frameworks that streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve consistency and
performance across the non-Life Safety FM portfolio.
• Defines, governs, and evolves enterprise performance measurement strategies, including KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and scorecards, to drive accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across all facilities and functional applications. Translates
performance data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Oversees the enterprise preventive maintenance strategy, ensuring alignment with asset lifecycle management, reliability goals, and risk mitigation priorities. Drives system-level improvements that reduce downtime, extend asset life, and optimize long-term capital
and operating investments.
• Establishes and leads enterprise vendor performance management programs, including development of KPIs and scorecards to ensure service providers meet contractual, financial, and performance expectations. Serves as a strategic partner to Supply Chain
and senior FM leadership to optimize vendor strategies, service delivery models, and enterprise value.
• Provides strategic oversight and analytical support for enterprise energy and utilities optimization initiatives, ensuring measurable reductions in consumption, improved cost performance, and alignment with organizational financial and sustainability objectives.
Tracks, validates, and communicates outcomes to leadership.
• Leads the development, prioritization, and execution of the annual Facilities Management capital program through rigorous data analysis, asset condition assessments, and risk-based decision-making. Partners with site, regional, and enterprise leaders to develop executive-ready business cases and presents recommendations to senior leadership for approval. Ensures disciplined execution, tracking, and reporting of capital outcomes.
• Designs and governs enterprise Facilities Management training and development strategies that strengthen both technical and leadership capabilities across frontline staff and FM leaders. Ensures alignment with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and organizational priorities, supporting workforce engagement, capability building, and long-term organizational success.
• Provides enterprise ownership of Facilities Management systems and technical programs, including CMMS strategy, optimization, data integrity, and standardization. Oversees the FM policy and standards library, ensuring strong governance, version control, and alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Leads change management strategies for enterprise initiatives by partnering with senior leadership to drive stakeholder engagement, cross-functional alignment, and clear, executive-level communication plans that ensure successful adoption and sustainable outcomes.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
• Maintains regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Education/Training:
A bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s degree is preferred. An associates degree or trade school certificate in a facilities-related field and two (2) years of experience (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. A high school diploma or equivalent and four (4) years of experience (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section) may substitute for the bachelor’s degree.
Licensure/Certification:
Relevant certification(s) in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
Seven (7) years of experience in program development, project management, facilities or maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
