Description

Job TitleEstablished and growing Developer / General ContractorJob DescriptionPrepare and review financial reporting for active construction projects. Manage accounts receivable activities, including progress billings, collections, and revenue recognition. Analyze project performance, budgets, and job cost trends. Prepare owner billings and supporting documentation. Review subcontractor billings for accuracy and contract compliance. Monitor project costs, change orders, commitments, and cash flow forecasts. Collaborate with project managers to identify financial risks and opportunities. Support project setup, budgeting, forecasting, and closeout activities. Drive process improvements to strengthen reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Serve as a resource for construction accounting and project management software systems. Mentor and support accounting team members. Strong understanding of percentage-of-completion accounting and project-based financial reporting. Experience with construction accounting and ERP systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
