This role is ideal for a professional ready to leverage their expertise in creating detailed architectural plans and ensuring seamless project execution.Key Responsibilities Architectural Design: Lead the design of data center projects, creating detailed architectural plans that meet client specifications and industry standards.Documentation: Oversee the comprehensive project documentation process, from drawings and specifications to contracts, and manage construction administration to uphold quality and alignment with design intent.Cross-Disciplinary Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, construction, and IT teams to integrate architectural designs with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.Project Management: Support project managers in overseeing the design phase, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any design-related issues.Required Knowledge And Skills Architectural Expertise: Strong background in architectural design, with experience in the AEC industry and a deep understanding of data center requirements.Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM tools.Coordination Skills: Ability to work closely with engineering and construction teams.Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in creating and reviewing design documents.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Recommended Experience and Education Education: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.Industry Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on data center projects.Professional Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.Project Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complicated, mission-critical data center projects.Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
