Title: Senior Project Coordinator – Precast/Prestressed Concrete

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to manage complex precast and prestressed concrete projects from initial design through fabrication and erection. This position serves as a key liaison among Sales, Engineering, Project Management, customers, contractors, owners, and erectors.
The ideal candidate has extensive precast or prestressed concrete experience, advanced AutoCAD or Revit skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple technical projects while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate projects from concept through fabrication, delivery, and erection.
- Review estimates, contracts, drawings, specifications, addenda, and related documents.
- Prepare and coordinate piece drawings ahead of scheduled production dates.
- Perform final reviews to ensure drawings and project documents are accurate and consistent.
- Monitor schedules, budgets, assigned hours, production deadlines, and team performance.
- Coordinate project teams, workloads, priorities, and deliverables.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, owners, erectors, and internal departments.
- Monitor jobsite progress and address field concerns or potential project risks.
- Compare developing projects against bid estimates and identify material or quantity deviations.
- Coordinate embed plates, loose materials, and department supplies needed for fabrication and assembly.
- Develop project details that reduce costs and improve production efficiency.
- Establish and improve standard details, procedures, and project workflows.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate errors and streamline project execution.
- Lead, coach, and mentor junior coordinators and technical team members.
Qualifications
- Seven to ten years of relevant precast or prestressed concrete experience.
- Associate or technical degree in Architectural, Civil, Industrial, or Structural Engineering preferred. Eight or more years of equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and estimates.
- Understanding of precast fabrication, erection, piece drawings, embeds, and related materials.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Strong project-management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects and competing deadlines.
- Experience monitoring project schedules, budgets, hours, and material quantities.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document-management systems.
- AutoCAD, Revit, or Autodesk certification preferred but not required.
