Prince Contracting is proud to be part of the US 301 Widening Project in Dade City, Florida, a major FDOT design-build transportation improvement. The project involves widening approximately 4 miles of US 301 into a four-lane divided roadway, along with new bridges, intersections, sidewalks, drainage, and safety enhancements. This work will improve traffic flow, mobility, and safety for the surrounding community while supporting long-term regional growth.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of engineer, perform engineering tasks in planning and overseeing various aspects of ongoing construction of mega infrastructure projects valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. This includes:
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience with Cast-In-Place (CIP) concrete walls, including retaining walls, MSE walls, sound walls, and bridge approach or wing walls, from layout through concrete placement and curing.
Working knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, and quality control requirements, with the ability to interpret FDOT plans, shop drawings, and technical details.
Prior experience on FDOT roadway or bridge projects, including coordination of formwork, reinforcing steel, inspections, and compliance documentation.
