The Sr. Project Manager - Construction - Queens, New York will oversee and manage complex public works construction projects for the general contractor and will be a leader within the team. The general contractor has a portfolio of $30M - $50M NYSCA projects and are in need of a Sr. Project Manager - Construction - Queens, New York to help sustain recent growth.

Client Details

Our client is an established general contractor who just landed about $150M worth of pipeline within the NYSCA/NYCDOT space. The general contractor handles a mix of new construction/ground up NYSCA works as well as interior projects also. The general contractor is looking to hire an established Sr. Project Manager to develop their current NYSCA portfolio and provide direction on how to add, build, and develop other public works projects in the $30M+ range.

Description

  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver quality results.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges or delays.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement and manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and efficiency across project teams.
