Position Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead end-to-end project lifecycle management for federal health agency engagements - from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and close-out.
Serve as the primary point of contact for federal clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring continuous alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports in compliance with federal program management standards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams - including engineers, data scientists, AI specialists, and compliance leads - to deliver on time and within scope.
Ensure all deliverables meet federal regulatory, compliance, and quality standards (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP, Section 508, HIPAA).
Identify project risks and issues proactively, drive mitigation strategies, and escalate appropriately to leadership and stakeholders.
Support proposal development and business development activities for new federal health opportunities.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, sprint reviews, and executive briefings with clarity and professionalism.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation in accordance with federal contract requirements.
Track project budgets, resource utilization, and delivery milestones, providing regular transparency to internal and client leadership.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
8+ years of project management experience, with at least 4 years supporting federal government clients.
Demonstrated experience working with or within federal health agencies (FDA, CDC, NIH, CMS, HHS, or similar).
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Public Health, Business Administration, or Engineering); Master's degree a plus.
PMP certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent credential required.
Strong knowledge of federal acquisition and contracting processes (FAR/DFARS familiarity a plus).
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work with federal agencies; ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong technology orientation with the ability to understand, communicate, and manage technical deliverables across AI, data, and software engineering domains.
Proficiency with project management methodologies - Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks.
Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint).
Working knowledge of IT systems architecture, databases, and data pipelines as they apply to enterprise and government technology environments.
Familiarity with federal IT compliance frameworks: FISMA, FedRAMP, HIPAA, and Section 508.
Understanding of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions in enterprise or government settings.
Experience with federal contract vehicles such as GSA Schedules, CIO-SP3, SEWP, or similar.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and enterprise collaboration platforms.
