Sr. Project / Managing Engineer (Transportation)

We are currently seeking a Sr. Project or Managing-level Engineer to join our Transportation practice area in our Buffalo, NY office. Duties primarily include engineering related to highway design and bridge/culvert projects. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Project oversight and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications, and client communications and meetings.Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below: Providing conceptual input on the development of design projects.Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.Providing quality control reviews of design.Proficient in technical writing.Potential for field review of construction progress at construction milestones.
