Senior Scheduler

Position Summary
The Senior Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing an integrated project schedule for a refinery fire rebuild project. This role ensures accurate planning, forecasting, and progress tracking across all phases of execution, working closely with project management, construction, contractors, and turnaround teams to support safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.
- Develop and manage a detailed, resource-loaded project schedule using Primavera P6 (or equivalent).
- Build Level 3-5 schedules encompassing engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Maintain and update the project schedule on a weekly basis, ensuring alignment with field progress.
- Identify critical path and near-critical activities; proactively communicate risks and mitigation plans.
- Monitor schedule performance, including slippage, float erosion, and resource conflicts.
- Develop and track recovery plans when schedule deviations occur.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports
- Provide clear, concise updates for leadership and client stakeholders.
- Support coordination of simultaneous work fronts in an active refinery environment.
- Align schedule with procurement timelines, long-lead materials, and delivery milestones.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in project scheduling within refining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience supporting capital projects in the $10MM+ range (turnaround or brownfield projects preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
