SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Sr. Purchasing Coordinator for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will support procurement operations by coordinating purchasing activities, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with established purchasing processes. The Candidate will also collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing and invoicing issues while helping maintain efficient, audit-ready procurement documentation.
Required Qualifications for Senior Purchasing Coordinator:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or accounts payable support.
- Experience creating and managing purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Knowledge of purchasing processes, contract administration, and procurement compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve documentation and invoice discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or procurement systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience of the Senior Purchasing Coordinator:
- Experience supporting procurement operations in a large or complex organization.
- Familiarity with audit preparation and procurement record retention requirements.
- Experience partnering with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice and payment issues.
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process efficiencies.
Responsibilities of the Senior Purchasing Coordinator:
- Coordinate procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders.
- Review purchasing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal requirements.
- Work with Accounts Payable, internal business partners, and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and purchasing issues.
- Maintain organized procurement records and documentation to support audit readiness.
- Assist with vendor documentation updates and purchase order revisions as needed.
- Provide general purchasing support while ensuring adherence to established procurement policies and procedures.
