Senior Data Engineer PythonAbout the RoleWere looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design build and ship production-grade data and AI systems for enterprise clients. Youll lead technical workstreams mentor junior engineers and own the end-to-end delivery of data and AI features.Required QualificationsEducation & ExperienceDegree in Computer ScienceEngineering or equivalent experience5 years of relevant professional experience in a data engineering role including leading technical workstreams mentoring junior engineers and driving adoption of software engineering best practices within a teamCore Technical SkillsExpert-level proficiency in Python and SQLAbility to work in polyglot environments Scala Java when required by client enterprise systemsStrong experience building Agentic AI Generative AI Machine Learning and Business Intelligence systems including prompt design retrieval-augmented generation RAG embeddings vector databases context construction and output handling in production workflowsHands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Spark LangChain Databricks Dask Airflow Dagster and KedroAI Delivery & JudgmentAbility to lead the implementation of AI features end to end with sound judgment around model behavior evaluation reliability guardrails and the trade-offs between quality latency and costMLOps LLMOps & InfrastructureDeep knowledge of MLOpsLLMOps including CICD for data workflows and automated agent evaluation LangSmith Opik LangfuseInfrastructure as code Terraform across cloud providers AWS Azure GCPSecurity & GovernanceExperience implementing robust data security and governance controls including managing PIIPHI authentication and role-based access control RBACProfessional SkillsExceptional time management and the ability to own technical workstreams autonomouslyStrong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local office languageWillingness to travel as requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience using coding agents Cursor Claude Code Codex etc.
