Sr. QA Automation Engineer - Irving, TX - Contract - $61-71 Per HR
Description
Join our team to modernize technology platforms by designing and executing automated quality strategies for cloud-based solutions. This hybrid position involves collaborating with various teams to improve testability and maintain platform reliability. The role requires expertise in automation frameworks and performance analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify risks and contribute to user story definition and acceptance criteria.
- Define, review, and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and build scalable automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
- Automate application workflows and conduct performance analysis using relevant tools.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain quality reporting.
Qualifications
- 7 years of professional experience in QA automation.
- 1 year of hands-on testing experience with databases, server-side technologies, and cloud services.
- 6 years of experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for various testing types.
- Strong programming skills in a major programming language with experience in API automation and performance testing frameworks.
- Experience in defining and reviewing test plans, test cases, and quality strategies.
