Ready to join a thriving tech company that’s redefining digital archiving and business intelligence? Smarsh is the leading comprehensive archiving platform. Recognized as one of today’s fastest growing companies in the U.S., Smarsh delivers innovative cloud-based solutions that help organizations manage and enforce flexible and secure records retention and compliance strategies for electronic communications, including social media and enterprise social networks (Yammer, Chatter, Facebook, LinkedIn and more).

Do you like using your programming, analytical and testing skills to solve interesting problems? If so, Smarsh might be the perfect challenge for you. We're looking for a Sr. Automation Engineer to join our QA team and help bring our automation up to speed. Working closely with our Sr. Automation Architect, you'll be responsible for adding to/maintaining our existing automation suites, as well as devising new ways to automate our existing testing efforts. In addition to a passion for testing and automation, we're looking for you to have the following skills/experience:

3+ years experience designing, writing and executing automated tests
Ability to write automation using one or more common scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
Experience creating, configuring and managing Linux and Windows test environments
Experience building, deploying and installing applications in test environments
Experience with complex database systems (not necessarily SQL)
Experience with API test automation (SoapUI, RSpec, Rest Assured)
Experience with load testing (LoadUI, LoadRunner, Jmeter)
Experience with UI automation (Selenium)
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment alongside Development, DevOps, and other QA team members
Understanding of advanced QA methodologies
