Sr. QA Automation Engineer

SUMMARY: The Senior Quality Engineer role is responsible for design, development and execution of Quality Engineering tasks. As part of the Client's Catalog Platform team, the scope of this position relates to providing accurate, compelling catalog for global businesses with millions of products and thousands of merchants. This platform uses Big Data technologies, Cloud infrastructure, an open-source scalable search platform and cutting-edge machine learning models. This role influences & leverages the best QA technologies and processes to deliver high quality software with speed.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Test Automation, White-box, Functional, and Performance testing 2. Design, develop & maintain robust automated regression tests and test automation frameworks 3. Create test plans and write/execute tests for backend Java applications and APIs 4. Perform scalability and load testing of APIs, Services and Big Data pipeline jobs 5. Work effectively with the Engineering team to quickly isolate, report & debug issues 6.
