An enterprise financial services organization is seeking a Senior QA Testing & Automation Consultant to support a large-scale modernization initiative. This role will serve as a key member of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) function, ensuring business requirements are validated and solutions are delivered with quality, accuracy, and operational readiness.

The position combines UAT leadership, test strategy, automation, stakeholder engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across both business and technology teams while helping drive successful program outcomes.

What You'll Tackle:
  • Lead UAT planning, coordination, execution, and governance activities.
  • Translate business requirements into comprehensive testing strategies.
  • Establish end-to-end traceability between requirements, testing, and defects.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to validate requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Design and execute manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Support implementation of automation frameworks and testing best practices.
  • Conduct impact assessments for change requests and scope modifications.
  • Support cutover readiness, defect triage, and production deployment activities.
  • Provide testing status updates, risk reporting, and executive communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across QA and UAT functions.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of QA, testing, or UAT experience.
  • Proven experience leading UAT activities for enterprise programs.
  • Strong understanding of requirements validation and traceability.
  • Experience working within complex transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting change management and release readiness activities.
  • Ability to work across business and technology organizations.
  • Financial services, banking, or payments experience preferred.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Mortgage industry experience.

Consulting background.

Cutover planning experience.

Regulatory testing experience.

Enterprise-scale modernization programs.
