  • Vacuum and recovery pumps come into play for the position, need to understand the whole connected system; their vaccum pump product will be the first project you work on

We're looking for an engineer at heart who sees quality as a lever to build better products-not just test them. This role is for someone who thrives at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software, with a deep understanding of how these systems interact-and where they can fail.

You bring a strong foundation in electro-mechanical systems, a hands-on mindset, and a passion for getting involved early to influence design decisions with data. You're naturally curious, analytical, and relentless in pursuing root cause. You partner effectively across teams and bring sound judgment to balance performance, reliability, and compliance at scale.

What You'll Do

Drive Quality in Design

  • Partner with engineering teams to embed quality into every phase of product development across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software systems
  • Perform engineering analyses (e.g., fluid dynamics, heat transfer, load calculations) to validate performance targets such as flow rate and vacuum levels
  • Build and test prototypes to validate real-world performance early in the development cycle
  • Develop product specifications and assess process capability (Cpk, SPC) to ensure consistent, scalable quality

Own Verification & Validation (V&V)

  • Design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate performance, usability, and safety requirements
  • Create test environments that simulate real-world operating conditions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues through structured testing and root cause analysis
  • Ensure full traceability from requirements through validation, including DFMEA integration

Collaborate & Influence
