The Role

The Senior Quality Engineer (SQE) will serve as the immediate delegate to the Quality Manager.

Ensure that the quality standards of the company remain maintained within the SGLS Garden Grove procedures, policies, purchased components and manufactured products

Participate in and lead complaint investigations, CAPA investigations, lead supplier audits, drive supplier quality, conduct internal audits and drive continuous improvement projects throughout the plant

Support any facility expansions, software validations, equipment qualifications and / or process validations required to support existing / new processes

Participate in and host third party audits and conduct training when needed

Implementation, maintenance and control of systems & practices, which monitor, assess, and approve the quality of materials and products at all stages of production

Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and facilitating continuous quality improvement objectives, primarily cGMP and ISO standards for the manufacturing location

Ensure the plant remains in full compliance with regulatory requirements and ISO requirements as they pertain to the plant, customer specifications, and corporate quality policies

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)

Master's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineer (preferred)

5+ years experience Plastics, Machining, and/or Injection Molding Operations

Analytics, Project management (Required)

Lead Auditor and ISO: ASQ (CQE, CQM, CQA) certification (Required)

WCM or Six Sigma Greenbelt (Preferred)

To make sure nothing is forgotten

Certain states require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees' wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $81,500 to $126,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is up to 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.

The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $89,650 to $139,150. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
