Robert Bosch LLC seeks Sr. Quality Engineer (Multiple Positions) at its facility located at 38000 Hills Tech Dr, Farmington Hills, MI 48331. Local (North America) expert and process owner for Quality Gates and Risk Releases, able to coach the organization on all aspects of these processes. This includes Platform, System, Component, Hardware, Software, and Relocation projects. Local expert for One Q for all project types (Quality Gate Tool). Management and leadership of the Quality Gate Moderation team in the region, including the development of associates (gap analysis and competency plans). Transfer Corporate/Division requirements into local specifications and support the implementation in the region, including improvements for process efficiency and effectiveness. Implement, monitor, and further development of the Quality Gate and Risk Release methods in the region. Develop and execute training courses for Quality Gates, Tools, and Risk Releases, including regional adaptations (in English and Spanish). Organization, leadership, and coordinate the local Quality Gate network, including lessons learned and continuous improvement. Participate in the global working group "Quality Gates" ("Functional Council"). Conduct Quality Gate Moderations for all project types. Drive the organization to ensure timing requirements are met for Quality Gate/Risk Release approvals and closure of measures. Collect, analyze, and summarize data for executive reporting. REQS: This position requires a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Quality Gate Moderator, Manufacturing Quality Leader, or occupation involving Manufacturing Engineering. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: 1. Six Sigma Black Belt or similar problem solving tool; 2. Quality Gate Process and One Q tool; 3. AIAG Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA or SPC); 4. Product development lifecycle (from requirements gathering through verification and validation activities); 5. Structured product development (requirements-driven engineering, requirements documentation, rigorous verification, or GD&T); and 6. Project management, engineering purchasing concepts, engineering manufacturing concepts and processes to ensure compliance to quality gate standards. Telecommuting: Hybrid, 3 days/week in office.
