Job Summary
The Senior Radiologic Technologist (x-ray technologist or radiographer) is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of all x-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. The Senior Radiologic Technologist mentors and provides oversight of the area in the absence of a supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Degrees: H.S. Diploma or GED; Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program.
Licenses & Certification:
Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist Licensed by Texas Medical Board.
Certified Rad Tech Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
Basic Life Support (Current CPR certification from a hospital-based American Heart Association (AHA) approved program).
Work Experience: Two (2) years experience as Radiologic Technologist.
Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal, Public Speaking, Writing, Composing, Writing Reports.
Job Attributes: Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Analytical abilities, Medical Terminology Knowledge.
Work Schedule: Flexible.
