You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely royalty payments to the State of Oklahoma, leveraging your expertise in severance tax calculations, oil and gas revenue accounting, and midstream reporting. Depending on your background and strengths, the position may lean more heavily toward regulatory functions or revenue-focused responsibilities.Responsibilities:Calculate and process Oklahoma severance taxes and royalty payments accurately and on time.Handle oil and gas revenue accounting , including bookings for royalties, gas balancing, midstream, and division order.Analyze and reconcile revenue data, ensuring accuracy for audits and internal reporting.Proactively identify issues, lead investigations, and implement process improvements without needing to be asked.Required Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required).5+ years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience.Strong knowledge of midstream and oil bookings, gas balancing, and division order processes.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, etc.).Initiative-driven and solution-oriented—someone who identifies issues and owns the resolution process.Nice to Have Skills & Experience:Oracle ExperiencePerks & Benefits:3 different medical health insurance plans, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary and Long-term disability insurancePaid time off, 401k, and holiday payWeekly direct deposit or pay card depositOther Information:Onsite Monday–ThursdayFridays: Remote, half-day (if working 9–10 hour days Mon–Thurs)If you are interested in learning more about the Sr Regulatory Accountant opportunity, please submit your resume for consideration.
