Location: Houston, TxDescriptionThe Senior Reservoir Corporate Planning Engineer is responsible for integrating reservoir engineering expertise into corporate planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making processes. This role supports asset valuation, reserves estimation, production forecasting, short and long-term development planning across the company's portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of short-, medium-, and long-term production forecasts across operated and non-operated assetsSupport corporate business planning cycles (BP, LRPs, budgets, re-forecasts)Provide technical inputs to corporate strategy, portfolio optimization, and capital allocation decisionsEvaluate growth opportunities, acquisitions, and divestitures from a reservoir perspectiveEvaluate and sensitize development schedules to ensure operationally executable and minimize or mitigate operational riskLead inventory scheduling and drive success of asset teams development program.Generate and validate decline curve analysis (DCA), type curves, and simulation-based forecastsIntegrate subsurface, drilling, and facilities data into field-wide production modelsEnsure consistency and quality control across asset forecastsSupport uncertainty analysis and probabilistic forecasting (P10/P50/P90)Reserves & Resource ManagementContribute to reserves estimation and reporting (SEC, PRMS)Work closely with reserves auditors and internal teams to ensure complianceEconomic EvaluationPerform economic analysis including NPV, IRR, breakeven pricing, and sensitivitiesAssess capital efficiency and project ranking to guide investment decisionsCollaborate with finance teams on cash flow projections and valuation modelsCross-Functional IntegrationCollaborate with:Asset team (Land, Geology, Drilling, Completions & Production)Finance & commercial groupsCorporate strategy and leadershipEnsure alignment between technical evaluations and financial outcomesData Management & ReportingMaintain high-quality data for corporate planning tools and dashboardsPrepare reports, sensitivities and presentations for executive leadershipSupport digital initiatives and automation in forecasting workflows and dashboardsQualificationsSpotfire and/or Power BI proficiency requiredEnersight or Planning tool proficiency preferredSQL experience preferredA minimum of 5+ years of Reservoir Engineering experience with a demonstrated focus on reserves, corporate planning, and acquisition analysisBachelor's degree required, preferably in Petroleum EngineeringHigh proficiency in Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsJob is classified as light physical work in an office setting involving sitting, with intermittent periods of stooping, walking, and standing.Occasionally may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull 10-25 pounds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
