Description

Overwatch Construction Management is looking for an experienced Sr. Resident Engineer to oversee transportation/transit construction projects and serve as a key liaison between contractors, clients, and project management teams. The Sr. Resident Engineer will ensure that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and specifications.Salary Range: $200,000-$215,000Project Start Date: July 1, 2026Project Duration: 24 monthsFull-time, on-site position.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site leadership and direction to construction teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget, reporting status and issues to project managers.Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical and site-related issues.Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.Prepare daily reports, documentation, and maintain project records.Support change order management and claims resolution process.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 15 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or similar role in construction management, preferrably on transit projects.Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and standards.Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6).Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site.Experience working on large-scale civil, infrastructure, or commercial projects is preferred.Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP, DBIA certifications preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
