    What we need:

    The Sr Manager Safety is a senior-level manager that will develop, plan, direct, and implement organizational safety programs to prevent injuries and work-related health conditions and comply with applicable regulatory requirements. This role will promote and work to maintain a safe and healthy work environment by collaborating with various departments to minimize workplace hazards and foster a culture of safety.

    What you'll do:

    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations.
    • Plan and deliver training programs to sites on relevant accident prevention and compliance programs.
    • Conduct analyses of accident causes and associated health hazards to be used to target specific prevention strategies.
    • Prepare and maintain required documentation of incident reports, statistical analyses, and other reports for use as required by company personnel and outside agencies.
    • Audit facilities to detect existing or potential accidents and health hazards and management systems deficiencies.
    • Provide information and communication materials to worksites to assist with training, safety meetings, and other programs.
    • Coordinate the investigation of incidents and injuries with site managers.
    • Perform other related duties as needed.

    What you have:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
    • 8-10 relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
    • 3-5 years of management experience.
    • Safety certifications preferred.
    • Knowledge of laws, regulations, practices, and procedures related to manufacturing safety.

    • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential people data.
    • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
    • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
    • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

    What else?

    • This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
    • Occasional travel is required.
    • This role may work in classrooms, offices, and high-traffic production floors.
