Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The role: In this role you will be a key member of the team creating enterprise applications needed to design, build, and operate the organization's business services. You will be responsible for the technical and functional support to software product development in SAP S/4. Our ideal candidate is highly autonomous, has strong knowledge of SAP functional and technical modules, has excellent organizational and time management skills and has a successful track record of delivering large-scale ERP projects. The desire and ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment is essential.

Key job responsibilities

In depth knowledge of SAP Procurement (MM-PUR), and SAP Ariba. Experience with both direct and indirect procurement.

In depth knowledge of Ariba: 1). Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Performance, 2). Ariba Supplier Risk, 3). Ariba Sourcing, 4). Ariba Contracts, 5). Ariba Buying and Invoicing, 6).Ariba Catalog, and 7). Business Network Commerce Automation.

Business Process Analysis: Analyze and understand business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to develop custom solutions and enhancements in SAP S/4.

Integrate Support: Integration of SAP Ariba, SAP S/4 and corporate systems for the complete procure to pay process.

Customization: Perform customization and configuration of SAP Procurement (MM-PUR) and SAP Ariba to meet business needs.

Trouble Shooting Support: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the developed solutions. Ability to support of both project and production support processes.

Documentation & Training: Create functional specs, process flow diagrams, user adoption and training materials for end-users.

Supplier Enablement: Work with suppliers on onboarding and catalog enablement.

Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies and build the technology roadmap to meet business medium and long term needs.

About the team

Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) team is responsible for a suite of products to automate and optimize business operations for Amazon Leo for Government (ALG). This is anchored in business process modeling and configuring SAP ERP's enterprise capabilities to streamline and optimize critical business processes, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Record-to-Report (RTR), and Make-to-Order (MTO). The team also owns Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Pricing systems. The solutions are built to comply with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
