Job Title: Sr. Scrum Master (Retirement domain/ Insurance)
Location: Piscataway, NJ / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid Job - 3 days a week in office)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master with deep expertise in the Retirement domain to facilitate Agile processes, support cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of retirement-related projects.
- The ideal candidate will serve as a servant-leader, removing impediments and fostering a collaborative and high-performing Agile environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams working on retirement domain projects.
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- Guide teams in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs effectively.
- Remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress and escalate issues as necessary.
- Drive team performance and foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Liaise between stakeholders and development teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
- Monitor and report on team metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverag-e retirement domain knowledge to provide insights and ensure domain-specific best practices are followed.
- Assist in planning releases, managing dependencies, and coordinating cross-team activities.
Must-have skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Extensive knowledge of the Retirement domain (e.g., pension plans, retirement benefits, insurance, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalents.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience managing or working within retirement or financial services projects.
- Ability to mentor team members and promote best practices.
