We are seeking a seasoned Seasonal Sr Tax Accountant with at least 8 years of tax preparation experience to join our team during the busy tax season. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who can expertly handle individual tax returns (1040s), fiduciary returns are a plus, ensuring accuracy and compliance for our valued clients. Schedule: Duration: February 15, 2026 - April 15, 2026 Hours: 40-55 hours per week, with flexibility for extended hours as needed Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote/In-Office as required) Role Type: Temporary/Contract, Seasonal Position Overview: We're seeking a highly experienced Seasonal Tax Associate with a minimum of 8 years of tax preparation experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and proficient in individual tax returns (1040s) and fiduciary returns, delivering accuracy and compliance for our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Review and prepare individual tax returns (1040s), demonstrating accuracy and efficiency. - Potential to manage fiduciary returns with a strong understanding of trust and estate tax regulations. - Offer professional guidance to clients regarding tax implications, deductions, credits, and filing strategies. - Communicate effectively with clients and respond promptly to inquiries. - Work with the tax team to ensure all deadlines are met within the tax season timeframe. - Balance high-volume workload, accurately reviewing tax returns and addressing any discrepancies.
