Sr Installation Technician

This is a senior field installation role for a technician who knows how to install access control, camera, video surveillance, and related electronic security systems in larger commercial environments. You will work with major customers running substantial security platforms, giving you the opportunity to stay close to newer technology, take ownership of complex installations, and build deeper experience with systems that strengthen your technical background. The territory is concentrated around Albany, with customers generally located within an hour of the area. Compensation is $30 to $40 per hour, with overtime available, plus a company vehicle and gas card.

What You Get to Do

• Take ownership of field installation work from equipment placement and device installation through final system completion.

• Coordinate your work in the field to keep installations moving and meet customer expectations.

• Follow drawings, system layouts, and project requirements to complete installations correctly.

• Continue developing your programming, commissioning, and technical capabilities while working on larger systems.

• Cover a practical territory where the majority of customers are located within approximately one hour of Albany.

• Represent the company professionally while working directly inside large customer environments.

What You Have Already Done

• Built strong field installation experience with electronic security systems, especially access control, cameras, and video surveillance.

• Installed commercial security systems independently and completed work without needing constant supervision.

• Worked on larger or more complex commercial installations where execution, organization, and quality matter.

• Worked across multiple manufacturers, platforms, or system types and can adapt to different customer environments.

• Read and worked from drawings, plans, or system layouts in the field.

• Developed the judgment and technical maturity expected from a senior installation technician.

• Worked directly with customers, project teams, and other trades while completing installations.

• Maintained a safe driving record and are comfortable traveling between customer sites throughout the Albany area.
