Up to 10% travel.Responsibilities Support the design, development, and utilization of high‑fidelity digital simulation software in advanced technical computing environments.Contribute to trade studies that assess weapons system performance against a variety of threats across kill chain scenarios.Apply performance engineering practices to evaluate computational problems and answer questions on system improvement, missile effectiveness, and countermeasures.Collaborate with program leadership, external customers, and experts, developing analytic approaches that provide data for programmatic decisions.Develop and implement model‑based solutions powering decision support systems; participate in validation and testing of models, software components, and integrated systems.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Experience with MATLAB or Python.Proficiency in at least two of: Systems engineering lifecycle, software development (C/C++ or Java), or object‑oriented design.Experience with AI, ML, surrogate modeling, or high‑performance computing.U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable U.S. Secret security clearance prior to start date.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Physics, or Aerospace Engineering.Active Top Secret DoD clearance.Data analysis and statistics experience with large data sets.Experience with AFSim or other simulation modeling development/analysis.Experience conducting studies, defining and executing a study.What We Offer Safety, Trust, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, and Innovation are the values that guide us.
