WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Sr. Software Developer (Salesforce) designs, develops, and supports scalable Salesforce solutions for loan origination, dealer experience, and enterprise digital platforms. This role leads complex technical delivery, including Apex development, automation, integrations, APIs, data consumption, and platform optimization. The position partners with product, business, architecture, integration, data, and UI/UX teams to deliver secure, maintainable solutions that support data integrity, compliance, production stability, and continuous improvement.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of scalable Salesforce solutions for loan origination, dealer experience, underwriting workflows, and enterprise technology initiatives.
Translate complex business and functional requirements into secure, maintainable technical designs, application components, automated workflows, and Salesforce platform capabilities aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Own technical delivery from solution design through deployment, including Apex, Flow, platform components, and performance optimization for high-volume, business-critical transactions.
Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external platforms, including MuleSoft APIs, Heroku microservices, legacy systems, third-party data providers, decisioning engines, document generation services, and downstream loan servicing platforms.
Develop REST and SOAP APIs, event-driven integration patterns, and asynchronous processing using Platform Events, Change Data Capture, streaming APIs, Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, and Future methods to enable reliable enterprise data synchronization.
Design integration monitoring, logging, alerting, retry, fallback, and error-handling frameworks to support resilient processing and minimize business disruption during external service failures.
Develop data consumption logic, APIs, and data models to parse, validate, store, and manage credit bureau summaries, consumer credit profiles, calculated metrics, risk indicators, tradeline information, and financial analytics in JSON, XML, or other standard formats.
Implement data governance, quality monitoring, validation, enrichment, duplicate detection, migration, retention, archival, and secure deletion processes to support data integrity, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
Partner with product owners, business systems analysts, architects, integration teams, data teams, and UI/UX developers to define requirements, API contracts, data mappings, integration specifications, underwriter workspace components, and credit analysis tools.
Serve as a senior technical resource for solution decisions, production support, complex platform issues, design workshops, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement across Salesforce and connected enterprise systems.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Minimum 8 years of progressive Salesforce development experience, including full lifecycle implementation, enhancement, integration, and production support in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with Apex, declarative automation, Salesforce platform customization, scalable workflows, high-volume transaction processing, and business-critical application support.
Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, APIs, middleware platforms, microservices, third-party services, and multi-system enterprise environments.
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Digital Lending, Automotive Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, credit bureau/fraud/identity verification/pricing/dealer service integrations, credit application, underwriting, loan origination, lending workflow, dealer portal, sales enablement, commercial, wholesale, automotive finance, captive finance, consumer lending, commercial lending, or other regulated financial services environments preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant Industry Cloud certifications are preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce solution design, application development, enterprise integration, event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, resilient integration patterns, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions within regulated, compliance-sensitive financial data environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to evaluate technical alternatives and work effectively across business and technical teams.
Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to work independently while managing complex technical assignments in a fast-paced environment focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
